A little plant perspective

These are just a couple of pictures I snapped of my two I-planters as I’m now referring to them. (Inverted hanging planters) The tall tree to the right is a “dwarf” citrus tree. It’s one of those that are in the plant catalogs that supposedly produce oranges, lemons and tangerines on one tree. Well it hasn’t yet but it’s only a couple years old so only time will tell. As you can see the plants are growing very well hanging upside down. They work exactly as I had hoped. Roots are at the bottom, water and nutrients drain down to them. That equates to happy plants.

This picture is of a key lime tree that my sister bought for me when she was in the Keys a couple years ago. Who says tropical plants don’t adjust to Wisconsin weather. Providing they are indoors that is.
