Stop spending our money as you think fit.

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

This is where I would side with the Republican party of past decades.  Don’t spend money that is not yours…and “keeping government smaller”.  This is something that no longer exists with the current parties.  Stop bailing out large corporate entities on the citizens grossly weakened tax dollar!  Anyone who even glances at a news site or paper lately can’t help but notice bailout after bailout of large corporations by our government because of their corruption, greed, deception, pick an adjective.  Stop spending U.S. tax payer dollars unjustly!

Ouch!

This is one crazy dude.  A voluntary belly flop from 40′!  My stomach hurts just watching it.

Just like the old saying goes: “Dig in the basement and you’ll find bones.”

Ok, that may be my saying but it fits in this case.
I started further excavating in our basement today underneath the bathtub. After hauling out a dozen or so 10 gallon buckets of dirt and sand I came across the usual garbage such as tar paper, lathe, siding, mortar, bricks and insulation.
I also found a couple small beads and some bones.  Yes bones.

Read all about it.

Burglars and creepy looking, intrusive midgets be warned.

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

I came across an odd fact recently that 1 out of 7 burglary cases in the US are actually solved.
On a related note;  A few nights back I was having a deep sleep dream.  I dreamt that I was fighting some really evil, creepy looking short guy.  Now, I’m not sure how this fight came about but I do know that he was a threat to me and my family.  (Wife & dogs)  So, while fighting this creepy short dude I kicked at him specifically aiming for his neck in a logical attempt to break his neck and paralyze him.  After all, this asshole was attacking me.  So as I kick at the guys neck I wake up because my foot had made a Very hard contact with the window frame next to our bed and thus waking myself and my wife.  Fortunately I was not facing my wife and I hit the frame instead of the window.

This week at the checkout.

Sarah Palin has so much baby drama going on that the media hasn’t had a chance to see what’s in her closet.  Angelina might be depressed and Kelly Ripa feels the need to tell you how to be as fucking happy as she is.

Chromey

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

I can never resist the shine of a new application, in this case browser.  I’ve tried probably every browser out there.  At the moment this makes #4 installed on my machine right now.  Rated in order of performance: Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, MS Internet Explorer-only used to check site layout compliancy for those fools still using it.  Speedwise I have to say Firefox wins it.  Appearance,  it’s a tossup; FireFox can be skinned to accomplish much the same appearance as GC.  Features are the usual, though being Google they do tie it in with a lot of their own apps.  Incidentally, this post I made using Google Chrome.

My absolute favorite Monty Python Sketch….Ever.

I’ve linked to it in a past post but feel this really does deserve another post, especially since someone has now graciously submitted a version to YouTube that can be embedded.  Enjoy!
