How haunted is my house?

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

All I know is it’s not bats or mice. Recently my little Mrs. and I have been watching a show called Ghosthunters. Basically it is about a team of people who go to locations that have experienced supernatural occurances. As anyone who has visited my site before knows, I have a running log of things that have happened in our house. It turns out that Ghosthunters is having a contest where the “winner” will be visited by the ghosthunters team. So, why not? I have had things happen in this house that I can’t explain. I’m a skeptic and try to find a logical explanation but can’t.

GhostHunters

Well, since her hotness hasn’t placed this on her blog it’s fair game for mine.

When my pretty little Mrs. showed this to me I thought, this is something I should have and could have invented. Dammit.

Dude, This sounds like your line of work.

I’m not going to mention names because the person I’m referring to knows what I’m talking about. Spam is a highly lucrative business. I’ve known this for a while I just had no idea it was to this extent. Courtesy of Gizmodo, meet the cash worm.

Windows folks, if you have adware installed on your machines, chances are that you are supporting these worms. To the tune of 2 Million a day. Running adware, get a popup? Multiply that by a few million people in the US alone. It’s easy to see how the authors of said worm are cashing in on your frustration.
